My new album « Spirit I Am » is, without a doubt, one of the most exciting projects of my career. It puts together 2 records :
* « Field Recordings » a special « collector » album which contains seven traditional songs cut just with my guitar. This CD also includes an 18 minutes video program (to be watched on computers) shooted in New Orleans recently.
This special project including these two albums will be distributed only in Benelux and France through the Dixiefrog label. These two albums were recorded in Nashville, with some fabulous new musical friends, it also features some wonderful cameo performances by Bonnie Raitt (on slide guitar), and Ruthie Foster (singing a duet with me). Style-wise, it’s a further exploration into the place where blues meets gospel and soul.
