DUETS FOR MIDI GUITAR AND CLASSICAL GUITAR

The blending of creative influences and musical styles was the main goal of the Crypto Project.
Diverse elements from the unique sound of the classical guitar ,with an experimental and freer approach,were mixed together with influences of jazz and fusion, world and ethnic music, in order to create these new contemporary compositions. At the climax of this experience, the guitar and electronics became the breeding ground for new unusual sounds. Most of the pieces were written by Isbin and arranged by Di Stefano. Using only a classical guitar and a Godin midi guitar, the duo creates delicate melodic landscapes, full of intriguing melodies, lush chords and fascinating rhythms.
Crypto represents a beautiful collaborative effort, leaving you wanting more music from this duo.(Berben)
