The previous JSP box sets of Jo Stafford have been the definitive reissues on this sweetly swinging and very hip singer who was so much more than a mere pop singer-her jazz influences were immaculate.

Lovely recordings, superb songs-all perfectly presented and remastered.
The JSP box set series now include the best of the female singers-Judy Garland, Patti Page, Dorothy Squires, Dinah Shore, Rosemary Clooney. But it's Jo Stafford who most seems to resonate with a modern audience.
