Eddie Cochran opens the proceedings with his enthralling Sweetie Pie, and more white rock is heard from; Johnny Burnette, Me And The Bear, Al Turnage and The Turnpikes, Hollywood Rock, Vic Gallon, I'm Gone, the Sanford Clark-esque Connie Conway, Baby's Comin' Home, Charlie Gracie with the Elvis Presley inspired I'm A Fool That's Why, and Jimmy Dee and The Offbeats wild and loud rocker Here I Come. In the mid-1950s the country artists had to adapt to the big beat sound to put food onto their table and prime examples of the styles coming together can be heard from; Bob Gallion, My Square Dancin' Mama (She's Done Learned To Rock And Roll), Wayne Walker, Little Ole You, and Bonnie Blue Bell with The Chic Adams Band Let's Go, all of which have a catchy rhythm.
