In a sense, this is a lot like a Remy Ongala disc - Majunga is a Malagasy guitarist, but he has played with most of the big name Zaireans in Paris, so this has the ultra-clean, rippling guitar associated with the Afro-Paris style. However, the underpinning has a Malagasy/East African simplicity which is a welcome contrast to the sometimes overbearing arrangements of the soukous heavies.
