Description

Queen's 'The Works' tour began on 24th August 1984 in Brussels and ran through to 15th May 1985, where it concluded in Osaka, Japan. Prior to reaching the far east, the tour had ventured across Europe, in Brazil, Australia and New Zealand, and, controversially (at the time apartheid was at its height), in South Africa. The final week of the tour was spent in Japan, where the band played three nights in Tokyo and one each in Nagoya and Osaka. Queen's final show in Japan's capital city, was performed on 11th May '85 at the city's Yoyogi National Gymnasium, and was one of the entire tour's favourite concerts among fans; it was also recorded for live radio broadcast and television transmission across Japan. Previously only released on VHS tape, and now long deleted in that format, this stunning concert is now available on a 2CD Set in perfect quality, a release certain to delight the band's millions of fans worldwide still flying the flag for this legendary act.
