Anka's teen-idol years came to an end in '61, when the 19-year-old scored his last Top 10 for ABC-Paramount, 'Dance On Little Girl'. It wasn't until 13 years later that he returned to the Top 10 and that 1974 hit proved to be no fluke, as Paul's evolved songwriting skills soon made him a star all over again. Microwerks' The Times of Your Life: Best of the '70s is a good budget-priced collection containing some of Paul Anka's most popular songs of the era. Among the 13 tracks are the original versions of "(You're) Having My Baby," "One Man Woman/One Woman Man," "I Don't Like to Sleep Alone," "(I Believe) There's Nothing Stronger Than Our Love," and "Times of Your Life." This set is close to being definitive for that stage of his career, but, unfortunately, Anka's signature song, "My Way," and the fan favorite "Jubilation," have been omitted.
