Snatch It Back – Hot Stuff
Snatch It Back plays tough, no-messin', Chicago-style blues. Maybe with a hint of Texas, a dash of Memphis, a sprinkling, occasionally of New Orleans funk, but for the most part this has always been an outfit steeped in the sounds of Howlin' Wolf, Little Walter, and Willie Dixon. The band had been together for eight years at the time of this CD, and that experience shines through like a beacon through the muck of lesser efforts. SIB has gone for a live sound on this CD, which really enhances the original songs here, and the few classy covers that are included. The instrumental portion of the line-up includes guitar, bass, harmonica, drums and Hammond organ.
