Over the years, B.B. King developed one of the world’s most identifiable guitar styles. His economy, his every-notecounts phrasing, has been a model for thousands of players, from Eric Clapton and George Harrison to Jeff Beck.

Presented here is King’s album Singin’ the Blues, a superb collection of his early hits, including four #1 R&B Billboard chart hits: “3 O’Clock Blues,” “You Know I Love You,” “Please Love Me,” and “YouUpset Me, Baby.”
