Klaus Suonsaari – True Colours

“True Colours", Klaus Suonsaari's third album as a leader, showcases the powerful drummer, a master of extremes, who, sometimes turns, sometimes simultaneously, emphasizes swing and feeling in his compositions and in the direction his example sets for his sidemen. With his own virtuosity and their support, he makes this album filled with his own compositions fly by. It's no surprise that these distinctive players turn in their usual fine perfomance. That said, the music becomes the center of attention.
