W.C. Spencer – Blues Explorer

Excellent CD! Amazing Effort! These are just some of the things being said about W.C. Spencer's latest CD. Basically, W.C. cooks like crazy and plays everything himself - Simply Remarkable! Yep, guitar, drums, bass and harp are coming from Mr. Spencer as he rocks the living daylights out of 13 blues gems (about half of which are original compositions). The influences of Roy Buchanan and Danny Gatton filter in along with W.C.'s own voicings. The rhythm section is strong and the guitar satisfies while revealing a masterful quality. The vocal work slides smoothly within the sound built by this talented individual. We gotta say, "simply wonderful".
