Vance Kelly – Blue Bird

Five titles of the CD were recorded in studios in Chicago, the remaining titles are live recordings, recorded during tours through Europe. One song is sang by Vance Kelly's daughter Vivian. 
On "Blue Bird" Vance Kelly is accompanied by his band, the Blackstreet Blues Band. While listening to the CD one notices that these musicians are playing together for a long time.
Usually Vance Kelly plays Blues, Soul and R'n'B, but this CD is 100% Blues only. 
Finishing the CD "Blue Bird" shows that Vance Kelly is not only the most significant musician in the Chicago Club scene, but the most significant Chicago blues musician.
