Funkily contemporary yet steeped in the deepest Louisiana roots Rosie Ledet is standing on the verge of mainstream acceptance. Since Rosie Ledet's first JSP album in 2011 she has found a new, international and increasingly mainstream audience. She has played many major European festivals. Her music retains the full essence of Louisiana Zydeco-rocking and bluesy accordion and a deep rootsy soul along with all the elements that can mark her out for wider acceptance-strong and individualistic songwriting, a sweet but bluesy singing style and the addition of contemporary musical elements.
