Night Cats – Got Blues If You Want It!

Nightcats (from Sweden) sound like 'the Mighty Flyers jamming with Little Walter and Gatemouth Brown. Guitar buffs take notice: Mr. Bo knows how to get a righteous blues sound out of a guitar on "Got Blues If You Want It!" and his vocals never sounded better (wailing blue notes and gruff soul vocals). Of course, this CD is a freshman effort from Mr Bo, yet there's a vibrancy that is unmistakable. The horns are majestic, Lasse on Harp hits it; but it all comes back to that hot guitar. These guys come together in great fashion - This CD will appeal to most fans of uptempo electric blues.
