Description

For many years, the lead singer of Charlotte's Plaids, Michael Wayne Deese jumps out of the box with some fine "Beach" and "Carolina Shag" tinged tunes. Michael teams with a band called "The Outsiders" in this tribute to the blues, and he has toured throughout the USA. This disc had been followed up by two other recordings "Jumpin' The Blues Vol. II" and "Lite The Fuse". Instrumentally, Van Coble seems to be the primary work-horse during these proceedings. He handles the guitars and blows some harmonica too. Not only this, but he has written several of the songs. Nat Speir is another multi-instrumentalist who contributes fine sax and keys.
