Description

Carl Martin was born in Virginia and made one of the best Bluesbands in Carolina. He played with a string band, the Tennessee Chocolate Drops. Here are all his recordings from 1930-35, recorded in Chicago. Brownie McGhee was born 1915 in Tennessee and met his longtime buddy Sonny Terry in New York. The recordings on this CD are from the 40's.
