Description

A superbly filmed performance from the Texas Blues Guitar Tornado from 1998 released for the first time on DVD.

U.P. Wilson was a legendary Texas blues guitar man who amazed British audiences on many tours and who has a solid body of superb albums. This is his amazing live show seen for the first time on dvd. He plays hard blues, inventive guitar but also demonstrates all his guitar trickery. Bonus tracks are an interview and a fascinating glimpse of U.P. at the sound check. This is also a real glimpse at a period that is already some 15 years old (watch amazed as U.P. smokes a cigarette on stage whilst indulging his guitar tricks) and when some of the greatest post war bluesmen were still performing regularly in clubs.
