Reviews:

1. AllMusic - Thom Owens
During the '30s, Dorsey Dixon was a country/folk singer who performed political songs about his fellow textile mill workers. Teaming with his brother Howard, Dorsey became well-known in the Carolinas as part of the country duo. They were underrecorded, but Dorsey's "Wreck on the Highway" became a standard through Roy Acuff's recording. Babies in the Mill contains a few songs that Dixon recorded during the '30s, balanced by some re-recordings from the '60s, offering a solid overview of his career.
