Description

In 1999, in the USA, Y2K was a common expression used to make short for " Year Two Thousand ". In French, " l'an deux mil " was short enough. Y2K, for me, has different meanings : Y for Yanis, my new baby boy born in March 2K, and two Ks for PatricK and Karina, the happy father and mother.
Those 2Ks are also 2 cases ; the symbol of the duality that's always existed in me : Living in Europe and in the USA, speaking and singing in English and in French, playing with European or/and American musicians, recording original songs and " classics "..
Eddy Mitchell used to sing " Où sont mes racines, Nashville ou Belleville ? " ; I could sing " Are my roots in Normandy or rolling along the Mississippi ? ". I don't ask myself anymore questions like this one. This CD is a dream come true : All my cases (sorry, my Ks !) are now reunited and it makes me feel great !
2 Kilos of blues was the least I could bring you this year !
